Economics, taught clearly.
I'm Aleksandr Kisik — an Economics tutor helping students master theory, diagrams and exam technique.
How I teach
Clear explanations
Theory broken into simple, logical steps.
Diagrams
Drawn and labelled until they're second nature.
Exam technique
Command words, structure, timing.
Evaluation
The judgement that earns top-band marks.
Economics shouldn't be stressful
I started tutoring after seeing how many capable students lose marks not because they can't do economics — but because exam pressure and unclear teaching get in the way.
My job is to remove that stress: make the subject feel simple, the exam feel predictable, and let students walk in calm and prepared.
What every session is built on
Clarity
Ideas explained until they genuinely click.
Exam focus
Everything maps directly to the mark scheme.
Confidence
Built through practice and honest feedback.
What students say
Honestly, I used to dread every econ exam. After a few months with Aleksandr, diagrams somehow became my strongest section. Still can't believe it.
"My Paper 1 essays finally clicked."
My school never really explained evaluation, we just got told to "add more". Aleksandr actually showed me how to structure it, and the 15-markers stopped feeling like guesswork.
"I always knew what to revise."
He's very calm and organised. After every session I got a short list of what to revise, so I never sat there wondering where to start.
"The exam felt predictable."
He helped me fix my IA commentaries and then we just drilled past papers. I opened the final exam and it was basically everything we had practised. Got my uni offer, so I'm not complaining.
